This policy covers the public landing page at clarifinapp.com and enquiries initiated through it. It does not cover processing within the separately linked Clarifin application.
Website delivery and hosting
The website is served by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and its global delivery network. Requests involve processing IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, technical browser information and connection/status data. Exclusively European processing is not promised for this landing page.
The purposes are delivery, availability, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. Our legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of this information service. Connection data is necessary to deliver the page to your browser.
Recipients include Vercel and its technical service providers. Vercel also describes processing certain operational and security data as an independent controller. Transfers to the USA and other countries are possible. Vercel identifies participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) for covered transfers. Provider information and published safeguards: Vercel Privacy Notice and Vercel Data Processing Addendum. You can request a copy of the safeguards relevant to our processing through our privacy contact.
Retention depends on the needs of operation, troubleshooting and specific security incidents, and applicable legal obligations. We do not maintain our own visitor database. Vercel describes deletion or anonymisation once its processing purposes cease in the linked notice; a uniform 30-day deletion period for all hosting data is not promised.
Email contact and meeting requests
Contact links open your email app. This website does not transmit a contact form to a form or booking service. Only when you send an email yourself do we receive the information you include, such as sender address, name, company, message and meeting preferences.
We use this information to handle your enquiry and arrange a requested conversation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR when you personally request pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract; for other enquiries and business representatives, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR applies. Our legitimate interest is appropriate business communication.
Recipients are the relevant people at Clarifin and providers engaged for email and IT operations. Incoming email uses Google mail infrastructure. Google and technical subprocessors may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Google describes applicable transfer mechanisms in its data transfer information; published contractual safeguards are available in the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum. You may request information and copies of the safeguards relevant to our processing through our privacy contact.
Providing information is voluntary; without a reachable sender address or sufficient information we may be unable to respond. Please do not send confidential financial, employee or customer records through this contact channel.
Enquiries are retained only as long as necessary to handle them and any resulting contractual relationship. Where statutory retention duties for business correspondence or records, or the establishment, exercise or defence of specific legal claims require it, affected records are retained for that purpose. They are deleted once those reasons cease. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Local resources and external links
Fonts come from your system. Stylesheets, JavaScript, graphics and icons are delivered with the website. No external videos, maps, social media widgets, booking scripts or form scripts are embedded.
Links to the Clarifin application, LinkedIn and information sources are opened only through your active navigation. The destination has its own privacy information. Our page sends no referrer. Merely visiting this website does not load content from those linked providers.
No automated decisions on this website
This landing page provides no AI chat and generates no AI analysis of personal information. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects through this website or create visitor profiles. Product previews contain synthetic demo data. Described AI functions are planned or beta product features; their actual use and associated privacy information belong to the separate product offering.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17) and restriction (Art. 18). Portability (Art. 20) applies to data you provide where processing is automated and based on consent or contract. You may withdraw consent for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Objection under Art. 21 GDPR
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
Send your request to info@clarifinapp.com. We generally respond within one month; we will explain any extension permitted by law.

Under Art. 77 GDPR, you may complain to a data protection authority, particularly where you habitually reside, work or where an alleged infringement occurred. The authority for our registered office is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg. Current address, contact and complaint options: LfDI Baden-Württemberg.
